Biography

Personal Statement While my primary focus lies in Non-Communicable Diseases NCDs, I recognize that health is inextricably linked to a wider array of social challenges. Therefore, my work on issues such as substance abuse and rehabilitation, environmental safeguards, urban health, and the well-being of migrant populations provides a comprehensive framework that I find incredibly valuable. Understanding these intersecting vulnerabilities, alongside specific concerns like maternal and child health in regions such as Nigeria, enriched my perspective. Crucially, I am committed to developing strong research methodologies to underpin investigations in these vital areas. I believe that by focusing on the social dimensions of health, guided by rigorous research, I can contribute to more effective and compassionate health solutions.
